About
Dr Richard Niesche is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the School of Education at The Research at The University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia. His current research project is exploring issues of leadership and social justice.
He has worked as a primary and high school teacher in both Queensland and New South Wales. He has taught at an Independent Indigenous School in Queensland for 3 years and has been researching Indigenous Education and leadership since 2003. His research interests include educational leadership, Indigenous education, social justice and poststructuralist thought. His latest book is with Routledge titled 'Foucault and Educational Leadership: Disciplining the Principal' (2011).
